About Adam Minneci

As a professional media content creator, I believe in the power of the media to impact the world around us and the responsibility that comes with that. Over the years I have utilized my skills to tell and market both original and IP related projects.

I am a professional screenwriter skilled at a number of genres. My recent screenplays include a coming-of-age drama about a gay civil rights hero who stood up to his homophobic principal when he was a teenager ('Reflections of a Rock Lobster') and a haunted house film centered on a gay father protecting his children ('The Uninvited'). I am dedicated to exploring diversity in media to better represent the world we live in.

My writing skills have enabled me to excel in the roles and duties I have taken on over the years. Whether it is analyzing and providing feedback on screenplays as a coverage writer to composing marketing materials for different industries. The tasks involved the same talents in knowing how to best assess and target an audience.

I have accumulated a wealth of proofreading experience. In addition to reviewing my screenplays with a fine-tooth comb, I have acted as a copy editor for notable newspaper trades at Media Sales Plus. I maintained a 99% accuracy rate while reviewing vital notices for the Toronto Star, Chicago-Sun Times, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and The Oregonian.

I graduated from Hofstra University in 2010 with a B.A. in Film Studies and Production. I have harnessed the abilities I learned in a wide variety of video related content. I worked as a production assistant on local productions, served as a videographer for political causes, and edited sizzle reels for pitching potential projects to executives at all corporate levels.

As a virtual series manager throughout my years at college, part of my duties consisted of utilizing Photoshop to create posters to market each episode.

I am confident that due to my storytelling and marketing capabilities, proven by my expertise in effectively reaching audiences, I will continue to turn in high quality content.
