In 2000, a single father, Steven LaChance, moved his family of three into a small house in Union, Missouri. They were soon driven out by a demonic infestation. However, his family was still haunted after they fled. Left without any options, Steven returned to the house in an attempt to get to the bottom of what was going on to protect his family.

Steven LaChance shared his harrowing account in his memoir, 'The Uninvited' released in 2008. Years later, he followed it up with the sequel 'Blessed Are The Wicked' in 2014. The church officially documented the Union "screaming house" as a true account of the paranormal. Steven's experiences were depicted in the Discovery Channel docudrama series 'A Haunting' in the episode 'Fear House.'
