Reflections of a Rock Lobster

A gay high school senior sued his school so he could attend prom with a male date in 1980. His court case set a precedent that is still used today to protect LGBTQIA+ students and their freedom to express themselves.

A timely true story

In 1980, LGBTQIA+ students faced a school system that set to silence them spearheaded by Anita Bryant and her misled "Save the Children" campaign. In the day of the "Don't Say Gay" conservative movement, Aaron's story shows LGBTQIA+ students they can take on their school and win.
